Following are Foreign Office views.ONE Tolicy is that rotugue se repatriation should be assisted as opportunity offers though NOT repeat NOT at expense of Tritish or Allied nationals and subject to agreement of Portuguese Governor to pay all expenses.

TWO. Where posaible Portuguese should be routed direct to PORTUGAL

or disembarked at nearest port of call.
